Wasabi Venture Sports Management, an investment and sports management company,
welcomes Brian Jordan as an Operating Partner. One of the last two-sport stars of his era, Brian enjoyed a 15-year career in baseball as part of the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers. He also was a standout in his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons. Brian has remained deeply involved in sports through a variety of roles and organizations. He still makes his home in the Atlanta area and is the Founder and Chairman of the Brian Jordan Foundation, dedicated to building healthy minds, strong bodies and supporting
places to grow.
“To have a person of Brian’s stature choose to join us at Wasabi Sports is a testament to his desire to continue to grow the community aspect of sports,” said TK Kuegler, Owner of Wasabi Sports. “It is also a validation of our strategy to bring more entrepreneurship to minor league sports ownership”.
“Over the years, multiple groups have approached me to be part of sports franchise ownership,” said Brian Jordan. “The unique approach and talents of the Wasabi Sports Management team and commitment to being an impactful community member make this the right opportunity for me to expand my presence in sports”.
“We look forward to having Brian involved in all aspects of our operations,” said Jeff Musgrove, Co-Founder and Operating Executive of Wasabi Sports. “Just as important, Brian will bring a valuable focus and leadership on the charitable efforts for us and each of our teams”.
Brian will work with the Wasabi Sports partners and investors to help identify and evaluate minor league team acquisition candidates for the venture capital fund. Once the acquisition is complete, Brian will work with the local staff to improve the game day fan experience and
community engagement.
